Matt Maher
Arguably the best known Catholic artist performing today, Matt Maher's gifts for moving music are quite apparent in his CD Empty & Beautiful. His powerful lyrics are backed up by his equally strong vocals and ability to write music that evokes an emotional response. Matt has also been known to ask his fans an opportunity to kneel in worship of the Blessed Sacrament as a monstrance is brought out on stage during breaks in his performance. If that isn't the epitome of Catholic Music, we don't know what is. Also don't be surprised if you recognize some of these songs from the radio. Matt's music has been playing across the country on Christian stations since last year.
