1. Picking Up The Pieces Of The Lives We Left Behind $0.70 - Add to cart
This song has to do with leaving the old life behind and picking up the new. It talks about today being the day to change and to begin that new life of happiness.
2. Standing Tall $0.70 - Add to cart
This song is pretty much a rocking worship song. Its just a song talking straight to God about how awesome He is and how if we will stand up strong and be with Him, all things are possible.
3. Chasing Tomorrow $0.70 - Add to cart
This is song that Last Day loves to play at shows and get people involved with. It has to do with moving onto tomorrow and leaving all the yesterdays or the past behind. It says, If you want to, you can follow and that is about bringing as many people to Christ as you possibly can. The stronger we become, the more we can fight off evil in this crazy world.
4. I'm Not Perfect $0.70 - Add to cart
To be honest, this is a song Matt wrote one day when he was mad at his parents. Teenagers can get tired of hearing from their parents what they want from them, over and over again, and yet most of the time they are right. Matt has also heard from fans that this could be a song talking to the bigger people in society. Take it whatever way you want!
5. A Simple Cry $0.70 - Add to cart
This is one of the most important songs on the album for Matt, because it is a song he essentially wrote in middle school when he was suffering from depression. He was tired of waking up hating life every single day, not caring if he made it to the next day or not. One morniung he woke up and said, "Jesus if you are real, come down here and save me." He called out for help and got it! Everything changed right then and there. All we need to do is to ask, and God will provide.
6. Save Me $0.70 - Add to cart
This song didnt get much attention on the album, but all in all is still a band favorite. It is just one of those songs you need when you are feeling down. It is a "call out to God and a worship" type song.
7. No Need To Hide (The Boy I Used To Be) $0.70 - Add to cart
This song looks back to Matt's younger years and the boy he used to be. Then it turns and looks at the man he is now. It talks about stepping into the future and letting everything go. With love and faith on our side, there is nothing to be worried about.
8. Take Me $0.70 - Add to cart
This is a worship song asking God to take us and make us so much more.
9. My Secret Love $0.70 - Add to cart
This is a fun song that Matt wrote for a hometown dairy company that makes a fruit punch drink called Jungle Juice. The guys took a liking to it when they were part of the youth group band. They decided to send an email to the company that makes it to tell them how much they loved it. And what do you know, they became one of the bands sponsors! So to show their appreciation, they wrote a song about their fruity drink. This is definitely a crowd favorite.
10. Nine Years Old $0.70 - Add to cart
This is a song about being nine. Who would have thought that? lol. It talks about being young, when everything is so stress free...so much fun. Then it talks about how all of that changes as we grow up, but nothing is sweeter than the time when we are nine years old.
11. Calling In The Night $0.70 - Add to cart
This is the second of two ballads on the album and is one of those songs that speaks right to the heart. It tells two stories; one about a guy who has lost it all and lets his self abuse get to him and another about a teenage pregnancy. Both of these people are so lost and alone, so in need of Jesus. We all need Jesus, thats just the plain truth. He has a plan for our lives and will get us through any mess we get ourselves into.
12. How Life's Supposed To Be $0.70 - Add to cart
This is just a rocking song that speaks about how life is supposed to be. With Jesus in our lives, it can be sunny with a high of 75 in the middle of the pouring rain. When we feel like nothing can bring us down and nothing can get in our way, we are living life to the fullest. Thats how life is supposed to be.
